Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026. Franklin Law LLP (“Franklin Law,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through franklinlawllp.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the message you send us.
- Information collected automatically. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how visitors use the Site and to monitor performance. These tools are designed to operate without setting tracking cookies or building a profile of you across other websites; they report aggregate metrics such as page views, referring sources, and load times. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can assist with your matter;
- Communicate with you about that inquiry;
- Maintain a record of prospective-client contacts for our own internal purposes; and
- Monitor and improve the Site’s performance and content.
We do not use contact form submissions for marketing, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate the Site and respond to you:
- Resend — delivers the email notification generated when you submit the contact form.
- Vercel — hosts the Site and provides the analytics described above.
- Neon — hosts the database where contact form submissions are stored.
Each of these providers processes information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Franklin Law, our clients, or others.
Cookies
The public Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Our administrative dashboard, used only by firm personnel to manage published content, sets a single session cookie required to keep that login secure; it is not set for, or accessible to, visitors browsing the public Site.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If we do not engage you as a client, we do not retain submissions indefinitely as a matter of course.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our database and administrative systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor requests consistent with our legal and professional obligations (for example, our obligation to retain certain records once an attorney-client relationship exists).
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and individuals seeking capital markets and securities counsel. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.
Third-Party Links
The Site may reference or link to third-party resources, including regulatory bodies such as the SEC and FINRA. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this policy does not apply to them.
A Note on Confidentiality
Please see our Terms of Use regarding the confidentiality of information you send us before an attorney-client relationship has been established. In short: do not send us information you consider confidential until we have confirmed in writing that we represent you.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
